Support for Young People in the South West

Youth Cancer Trust

Youth Cancer Trust is the sponsor of Realshare.Youth Cancer Trust provides support and free therapeutic breaks for teenagers and young adults with cancer (aged 14 to 30). See Activities and Holidays for Young People.

Teenage Cancer Trust

Provide 1:1 emotional support to young people and peer support opportunities, along with age-appropriate teenage and young adult cancer units in hospitals in the UK. Teenage Cancer Trust also provide an Education and Advocacy Service in the South West.

Youth Cancer Trust - Tracy Ann House

The Youth Cancer Trust is the sponsor of Realshare.The Youth Cancer Trust provides support and free therapeutic breaks for teenagers and young adults with cancer (aged 14 to 30).  The holidays take place in Bournemouth and all costs, including transport to and from the house is covered by the Trust.Groups of 8 can stay each week and to come on a holiday you will need to have agreement from your GP or health professional that you are fit to come. You can come before treatment, during or after... it's entirely up to you.You can also bring a friend or sibling with you for company or you might like to get your own group of friends together who you met whilst in hospital.YCT gives you an opportunity to have fun and chill out in a safe and relaxed environment with other people of your own age who understand what it's like to have cancer.
